The Eclipse 500 ushered in the ‘very light’ jet class when it first entered service in 2006. With a superb runway performance, efficient fuel burn, and an advanced avionics system, the Eclipse 500 delivers many of the benefits of a larger, more expensive jet. Powered by two lightweight Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F turbofan engines, the 500 has a range of 600 nautical miles at an altitude of 41,000 feet. The six-seater cabin features LEDs throughout and distinct temperature controls. There’s also a 16-cubic-feet external baggage compartment which holds six small suitcases/overnight bags.
