Global 8000
For passengers who require more range than the Global 7000, the $71 million Global 8000 will push the envelope when it enters the heavy jet market in 2017. Powered by next-generation GE Passport 20 engines that deliver a tremendous 16,500 lbs of thrust, the 8000 promises to hit the ball right out of the park with a record breaking 7,900 nautical mile range—that’s non stop from Hong Kong to New York or Mumbai to New York. Seating up to eight passengers, the three-zone cabin will run a colossal 2,236 cubic feet. As with all super-long-range jets, fuel efficiency is paramount and the 8000 promises to deliver an eight percent increase in fuel efficiency compared to the Global Express XRS aircraft.
