Citation Longitude
Scheduled to enter service in 2017, Cessna’s super midsize Citation Longitude will provide the launchpad for the clean sheet Snecma Silvercrest turbofan engine that will not only limit noise pollution but have a much lighter carbon footprint than engines of comparable potency. Many of the Longitude’s dimensions and avionics systems have yet to be confirmed by the manufacturer, but Cessna has indicated that the Longitude will have a range of 4,000 nautical miles, a speed of Mach .86, and share the same contoured fuselage cross section design as the Citation Latitude.
